This expression is crafted at the iconic Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland, using a blend of 9- to 11-year-old single pot still whiskies — a style defined by its use of both malted and unmalted barley for unique texture and spice.
After primary maturation in traditional bourbon and sherry casks, the whiskey is finished for 16 months in European oak hogsheads seasoned with Moscatel wine from Spain’s historic Bodegas Quitapenas — imparting vibrant fruit nuance and depth.
