Nobushi, a blend of Japanese malt and grain whiskies from the Miyagi, Nagano, and Hokkaido prefectures, matured in American oak! It's named after the Nobushi, Japanese elite warriors sworn to protect villages – the word actually translates as 'spirit of honour'.
Nose: Caramel and heaps of spices, with cinnamon, nutmeg and honeycomb alongside toasty oak.
Palate: Mint and earthy vanilla pod, with orange curd and sultana.
Finish: Peppery wood spice and buttery caramel.
