Sambuca Booca is a sweet and strong liquor which base is constituted by essential oils from the steam distillation of aniseeds. It can be served neat, on the rocks, or with a splash of water, when it will turn milk in colour. It has an affinity with coffee and is often served with a number of coffee beans in a shot glass, and for a bit of drama you can ignite the alcohol to toast the beans and enhance the flavour just before you drink it.
