A flagship Irish whiskey, Teeling Small Batch is an attempt to create a very interesting Blended Irish whiskey. This small batch bottling consists of hand selected casks which are given further maturation in ex-rum barrels which impart extra character and smooth flavour unique to Irish whiskey. Through bottling at 46% and with no chill filtering, this completes an Irish whiskey that's of true character.
An inviting and warming nose with hints vanilla and spice together with some sweet notes of Rum. A very approachable whiskey, the influence of the rum cask and higher percentage alcohol creates this unique smooth, sweet, slightly woody marriage that enlightens the tongue.
The finish is moorish with a sweet spice complimented by woody undertones.
