Teeling Whiskey wins big at 2021 World Whiskies Awards

Teeling Whiskey has added to its list of accolades by claiming the honour of “World’s Best Irish Whiskey” across four categories at the 2021 World Whiskies Awards.

The Dublin-based distillery is well-known for bold and experimental releases and collaborations, a trend established from their foundation in 2012. This approach seems to be working, as they picked up the following awards:

The World Whiskies Awards is an annual celebration of the very best in whiskies from across the globe. Presented by TheDrinksReport.com and Whisky Magazine, the World Whiskies Awards are one of the highlights of the year for the whiskey industry selecting, rewarding and promoting the world’s best whiskies to consumers and trade across the globe.

Hundreds of Irish whiskeys were considered for the ultimate title of ‘World’s Best’, with Teeling Whiskey continuing to reaffirm its reputation as a world class producer of Irish whiskey by walking away with top awards in both the highly competitive Irish Single Malt and emerging Irish Single Grain categories. Teeling Single Grain, Teeling Blackpitts Peated Single Malt, Teeling Small Batch Pineapple Rum Collaboration and Teeling 28-year-old Single Malt were each singled out by the judging panel for their signature tastes and ultimately recognised among the finest whiskies in the world.

Speaking on the award wins, Jack Teeling, founder of Teeling Whiskey said, “We are thrilled that our Teeling Whiskeys continue to be recognised as the Best Irish whiskeys in the world. To date, we have won over 300 international awards for our whiskeys, reflecting all the hard work and dedication that goes into the production of every single bottle of Teeling Whiskey.
"It is very rewarding to be recognised by both our domestic and international counterparts, which allows us to continue to lead the charge for the new generation of Irish whiskey producers. Despite the ongoing challenges posed for our industry, 2021 is set to be another landmark year for us as we continue to release new expressions of Teeling Whiskey to cater for the growing interest in unique Irish whiskeys”.
